Patricia Puskas

Patricia Walthall Puskas, cherished for her lively spirit and warmth, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 5, 2024. Never meeting a stranger, she was known for extending compassion and generosity to so many fortunate enough to receive her kindness.

Patricia was a remarkable woman who excelled in many areas. She was a devoted wife, committed mother, a successful catering manager in the hospitality industry, and she brought joy and service to the Catholic church for many years. Despite the challenges brought to her early in life, she overcame, embracing gratitude, lifting others, showering all those she cared for with love and encouragement. Patricia’s love for her community, gardening and nature is a legacy that lives on through her children and grandchildren.

Capital Caring Hospice supported Patricia and family in her last days following stroke complications. The respect, education and compassion from Capital Caring is greatly appreciated and should be available to everyone in this situation. Please donate in memory of Patricia.

More memories of Patricia Puskas

  1. Tom and I were friends and troopers in Area 1, Hanover County, VA. My friendship with Patricia goes back to their dating days.

Time around Patricia made for a better day. Patricia made you feel significant in conversations -as if you were the only one in a crowded room!
She was an avid listener with a warm smile and a 14K personality. Making people feel good was Patricia’s superpower.

I thank God for the privilege of her friendship.
