Leon King
On December 29, 2016, Leon D. King, Sr., an ordained minister, World War II veteran, and loving husband, father and grandfather entered into eternal peace. An avid fan of local sports, he enjoyed watching golf and the Nationals and Redskins games. He also had a passion for fishing and race walking, and he regularly competed and won medals in the D.C. Senior Olympics. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends, and he loved meeting and getting to know new people.
