Anna Hennessey
Anna Hennessey’s life was so short, but so well-lived. Diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma while serving a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Sitka, Alaska, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, tenacity, loyalty, and deep faith. Capital Caring made it possible for her to come home to be among loved ones for her final journey, and we will be eternally grateful for their support. Anna’s mantra as she faced unsurmountable pain and challenges was: “I never want to be the worst part of someone’s day.” She was a very special person and we miss her every day.
