John Forsman, Jr.
John left his cancered vessel on 1/25/21. He leaves behind myself (his sister), brother-in-law, Brian Allum, loved nephew, Trevor Allum, special Aunt Kathryn Ann Richardson, and ‘his boys’. Along with other family, Linda Heine, Tom and Phyllis Forsman, Peter and Lea Forsman, Ed Richardson and many cousins. He also leaves behind a multitude of loving and supportive family of friends too numerous to name.
John had a great life living on Wilbur Rd. filled with little league, soccer, Cub Scouts, Altar boy, BHS marching band, choir, coaching softball, folk group, Youth Minister, Merrimack On Stagers, Williamstown, K of C, working with the “Inappropriate’ play, suffering Jets fan, infamous poker nights and having way too much fun with his friends!
John also worked at Rustler, Johnson and Son, Deep Run Lodge, and most recently Richmond Limousine, to name a few.
Music was a big part of his life and he loved all kinds! My favorite memory is of us singing along to my mom’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ record. I was so glad we were able to see it together with the original Jesus actor.
There is nothing like a brother and John was ‘the okayest’ He knew me too well!
He was met in heaven with open arms by our parents, John and Richie Forsman, Oma and Opa, Granny and Grandpa, Denise, Ronnie, John and Kathy.
John loved his nurses! And I can’t tell you how grateful we all are for the care his oncology and hospice nurses gave him. Please consider a donation in John’s memory to Capital Caring for their devotion and compassionate care so that we may pay if forward.
RIP ‘little’ bro
Knew John Forsman from the years he worked at Richmond Limousine. He always had a pleasant smile
greeting everybody. He enjoyed Tacky Lights Tours during the Christmas Season , like a big kid. A hard worker almost to the last days of his life.
I enjoyed sharing music with him, he even enjoy me telling him all about my Trip to New York to a Concert at the Barclays Center by Dimash Qudaibergen from Kazakhstan that sings in 12 languages. He like listening to him on U-Tube, like I do. We talked about the upcoming Concerts in Europe, that I was planning to go and he joke with me and said ” I will go with you Martha, to keep you safe”. I told him that all the Concerts were cancelled until 2022 because of Covid-19, and that it will give him time to recuperate. I will think of John, every time I am on U-Tube listening to Dimash Qudaibergen , like you said the “Best Vocalist in the World”…………….So sorry John, you fought a good fight Enjoy the music in Heaven……….
