An answer to cancer….A Life Well Lived. ….
Known to friends as Rae, to her grandchildren and Family as Mimi. She left many journal pages with encouraging words of faith, strength, peace, and calm assurance in the face of illness and treatment. When asked what the grandchildren missed most of their Mimi, the answer was her encouraging words…when they needed them the most. She enjoyed taking pictures, drawing and lettering in Calligraphy. For the past year, encouraging words from her journals, art, and pictures have been shared with family and friends. It is a legacy of Hope to us all. Everyone who knew her spoke of how she always had a smile and a hug for them. She loved the Lord with all her heart and it showed. During her courageous five year battle with breast cancer she relied heavily on her Faith in her Lord Jesus Christ to get her through. She was always sharing that faith with those she met and always telling people she would be praying for them. Her courage was great her faith was greater. Mimi was the light for those who knew and loved her.
