Jimmy Langanke

My brother, Jimmy, my biggest hero, always…not only for the big brother “hero” role in my life, but the way he handled all of the obstacles, and hardships thrown his way. I watched him go through so much in his life, but handle it all with so much strength…which included the day he told me he had terminal brain cancer. And I felt like the wind was sucked out of me. I promised him I would bring him home, to live out his last months. I did not let him down. Jimmy came home Mother’s Day of 2004, and I took care of him until he passed away, on July 21, 2004, around 10:15 at night.
This was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. As Jimmy requested (ordered)😃that i be the one who took care of him. It taught me so much about life, and what is important, and that for me was caring for Jimmy. But he was always concerned I was okay, just like always, the way he was with all of us. The strength I gained from caring for my brother, and watching him through this sad time, cannot be described. This time in my life taught me more than I have ever learned from anything else. Thank you Jimmy, for passing that strength to me. I love you, and miss you everyday.❤️
