Dorothy E. Ferrara
Dorothy was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved her church, her family, music, cooking, sewing, and crafts. She was the kind of person who would go above and beyond to help someone and had a very welcoming home. She and her husband, Pete, were perfect life partners in their 69-year marriage, raising their children, musical performances and in supporting each other through thick and thin. Though she did not serve in the armed forces, she was a true patriot serving in a munitions factory and performing on a regular basis for the USO in Denver, CO during WWII. Mom passed before her verification as a Daughter of the American Revolution. Gone only 1 1/2 years, she is still missed immensely.
